So maybe we film some more stuff tomorrow… We ‘r flying out of Seattle on Wednesday morning, arriving in Munich Thursday morning…
So far,

Heyy guys,
so I’m now for 1 week in USA/Canada. We flew in on Wednesday last week and rented an RV in Seattle. Not a lot of space but still working :)
On Wednesday morning we drove to Mt. Baker… they’v so much snow! Bout 6m snow base… check the pic below!
But i realised that filming is a bit more complicated than expected. Over there its snowing most of the time, so we didnt get that much sun. And if suns coming out all the lines are destroyed within 2 hours… also the lines u have to hike. U check a line from the bottom hike up, but on the way up u realize, that another guy already skied it. Pretty anoying, but we have to deal with it :)
And furthermore its already pretty warm over here and the snow coming down is kind of wet. Not too good to ski and also pretty dangerous when its getting warmer and warmer during the day. Thats what i experienced 2 days ago. There was only a small sunny window to ski the venue below. We hiked up to the top, Martin started with his line and i was second. But in the last shoot i triggered an avalanche. The top snow layer bout 40m around myself broke and i started sliding down the venue. I ejected the ABS and it helped me a lot staying on top of the avalanche, so that got out of it at the bottom without injuries and didnt get buried.
So after that we decided to ski some smaller stuff in the woods. But as u can see, still a lot of work in the deep powder. Think it snowed bout 20cm every day…
But still we filmed some good lines before that accident and had lots of fun with the locals who supported us really good.
Now we’r in Whistler, u can hike a lot higher there, to have better, colder pow, and also safer snow conditions…
Hope we get some more good stuff to shoot…
So far,
Take it easy,
B
Heyy guys,
so we decided to fly to Canada tomorrow, for 2,5 weeks. We still need some footage for Aestivation, as well as some more photos. Conditions should be great over there, and we’r shooting with Birgar Olsen. So Roman Rohrmoser, Martin “McFly” Winkler, Birgar and me are flying out Tuesday at noon, returning end of April.
Stay tuned for the updates at this page,
Cheers,
B
