Courmayeur Review

Heyy guys,

so back from Courmayeur and I’m still pretty disappointed. Had a good line, skied pretty good and ended up 12th. But the level of riding is so high that small mistakes like the backseated landing I did at a double cliff make the difference. To be honest, I’v never seen such an amazing comp. Just 3 crashed and 19 perfect runs, where everybody could win.

FWT Chamonix Review

Well, I got 13th in Chamonix, had a really good top section, but slowed down after… what u shouldn’t do if there are so many good riders. A bit disappointed but i have my next chance on thursday in Courmayeur… and i’m still 9th in the overall ranking.

My line…

Congrats to Sam Smoothy who won in Cham with a really sick double, stomping every landing in his run. Tom Leitner finished 8th with a really creative line and a nice corner jump in the end!

Comp tomorrow…

So it looks like the comp will happen tomorrow. There’ll be a pretty short good wheater window in the morning and the snow is pretty wet and heavy, but i hope it works out.

Breakfast at 5 in the morning tomorrow, first gondola at 6:30, first rider at 8:30… oboi… early start.

And we’v a new venue which faced more east that the last one…

After the heavy snowfalls last night we expected a pretty nice pow day, but all the lifts were closed today, cause of ava danger and strong winds.

Anyways, there’ll be an inspection tomorrow and the comp hopefully on monday (postponed due bad wheater).

So I’m finally back in Germany… pretty stoked bout my trip to Canada. Lots of experiences, nice people and a good comp result.

I finished 9th overall (7th in the FWT ranking) with a solid final run. Probs to Kye Petersen, who stomped three 360° in 2 runs and skied super clean and smooth!

FWT Day 1

Well,

Day 1 is finished and i had a pretty sweet run… jumped a big double and had a fluid run. Riding level was awesome, so I’m pretty stoked that I’m 3rd in the Freeride World Tour Ranking and 8th in the overall ranking (Freeride World Tour & Freeskiing World Tour) out of 50 rider after day 1. Besides that I’m the only european rider in the top 10!

Unfortunately Tom Leitner (Massive Cork 3) and Gri Reichenberger (Big Drop & sweet backy) didnt make it… bummer!

FWT Revelstoke Day 1

so looks like first comp day is tomorrow. We had a inspection today, but the weather was bad… hopefully we have a better look on the venue tomorrow before the comp.
